Career Readiness Workshop equips students for Work-Integrated Learning success
Preparing for Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) starts long before students enter the workplace. To help second-year Journalism and Integrated Communication students take that important step with confidence, the Tshwane University of Technology’s Department of Journalism and Integrated Communication hosted a Career Readiness and Skills Development Workshop under the theme From University to Workplace: Preparing for Work-Integrated Learning Through Skills, Professionalism and Employability.

Rising music talent takes conducting debut to new heights
Stepping from the saxophone section to the conductor’s podium, Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) first-year Computer Science student and accomplished saxophonist, Khumo Modise, recently realised a life-long dream conducting the UNISA Wind Ensemble at the UNISA ZK Matthews Great Hall. It was his first experience leading an ensemble of this size and brought a long-held musical ambition to life.
