TUT Ga-Rankuwa students mark Mandela Day with service
In commemoration of Mandela Day, the Directorate of Extracurricular Development (DED) at the Tshwane University of Technology’s Ga-Rankuwa Campus, in collaboration with Student City Residence, visited the Ga-Rankuwa based Korwe Orphanage on 19 July 2025 to carry out a community outreach programme.

President Ramaphosa appoints Prof Maluleke as co-chair of National Dialogue Eminent Persons Group
Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Prof Tinyiko Maluleke, has been appointed co-chair of the National Dialogue Eminent Persons Group (EPG). President Cyril Ramaphosa made the announcement on 16 July. The National Dialogue is a citizens-driven, inclusive, crosscutting process aimed at the crafting a vision and a plan for South Africa for the next 30 years.
Digital skills workshop empowers Limpopo learners
A strategic partnership between the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) and the Banking Sector Education and Training Authority (BankSETA) continues to bear fruit, most recently through a digital skills development workshop hosted at Makgongoana High School in Limpopo.
