That was the key message shared with 60 Journalism and Integrated Communication students during a Women in Media and Communication speed-mentoring session, in which industry leaders encouraged them to build skills, embrace new technologies, and actively shape their career paths.

From entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence to cybersecurity awareness, students at the Tshwane University of Technology’s Polokwane Campus gained valuable insights to help them thrive in an increasingly digital world. A training session hosted by the Directorate of Extracurricular Development equipped students with practical knowledge of innovation, online safety, and entrepreneurship, while encouraging them to become responsible users of technology and future business leaders.
