This message, “Our university, our space, our belonging, was at the centre of the 2026 Soshanguve Campuses Disability Awareness Campaign, during which students, staff and stakeholders united to promote disability inclusion, accessibility, safety and belonging across the university community.

Rising music talent takes conducting debut to new heights

Stepping from the saxophone section to the conductor’s podium, Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) first-year Computer Science student and accomplished saxophonist, Khumo Modise, recently realised a life-long dream conducting the UNISA Wind Ensemble at the UNISA ZK Matthews Great Hall. It was his first experience leading an ensemble of this size and brought a long-held musical ambition to life.
