Practical research skills build stronger postgraduate foundations
Building confidence in research and preparing postgraduate students for academic success were at the heart of a two-day Systematic Literature Review (SLR) workshop hosted at Tshwane University of Technology's Soshanguve South Campus. The initiative equipped Computer Science students and staff with practical research skills, mentorship and valuable insights aimed at strengthening research capacity and supporting a smooth progression from postgraduate diploma to Masters studies.
Tax Clinic roadshow simplifies compliance while building student expertise
Bringing tax services directly to campus while giving students valuable workplace experience, the Tshwane University of Technology's Department of Accounting Tax Clinic joined forces with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) for its annual Tax Clinic Roadshow. The initiative helps staff and students better understand and manage their tax obligations while providing aspiring tax professionals with practical exposure to real-life tax matters.
