How the Process Works
All research applications must be submitted through the appropriate channels for review and approval before data collection or laboratory work begins.
The process involves:
- Faculty-level screening through the Faculty Committee for Research Ethics (FCRE).
- Ethical review and approval by either the HREC or the AREC, depending on the nature of the research.
- Monitoring and reporting throughout the research lifecycle.
