TUT Graduate Shines with Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) announced Maropeng Vanessa Malemela as a recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in the Faculty of ICT.
Malemela completed her studies with an exceptional 86% average, earning distinctions in all 23 modules. Her outstanding performance reflects dedication and academic excellence that has earned her recognition among the university’s top graduates in the Class of 2026.
During her time at TUT, Malemela discovered a strong passion for Communication Networks and Cybersecurity. She is now pursuing this field as a career, currently working as an engineer at Huawei while advancing her expertise through an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology.
“This is what going From Good to Great looks like,” the university community proudly stated in celebration of her achievement.
The Chancellor’s Award highlights the university’s commitment to nurturing excellence and producing graduates who are ready to make meaningful contributions in their chosen fields.
