Mobbie, who achieved five distinctions in his matric finals in 2025, is enrolled for the Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Electrical Engineering.
While he awaits the start of the 2026 academic year, Mobbie – who hails from Sekhukhune – is taking free online courses in cybersecurity and Python with Cisco Networking Academy.
Mobbie, who was torn between computer science and electrical engineering, finally chose engineering. As he looks forward to gaining more knowledge in electrical engineering, he feeds his curiosity in computer science through online courses.
He completed his matric at St Joseph Secondary School with distinctions in Maths, Physical Science, Life Sciences, Agricultural Sciences and IsiZulu Home Language.
When he is not engrossed in his online studies, Mobbie said he enjoys watching movies and gaming.
