Student engagement was robust with attendees representing all academic levels and disciplines, notably 932 students registered for Work-Integrated Learning (WIL).

Tsabuki Makou, Employability Practitioner at the Directorate: Cooperative Education, emphasised the significance of this event, marking the second instance of such an expo on the Arts Campus.

“The primary objective was to facilitate meaningful connections between students and industry, thereby enhancing employability and access to professional opportunities. The Directorate and WIL coordinators in the faculty strategically curated exhibitors to align with the faculty’s academic profile as part of its annual series of seven expos across the university,” he said.
