Tshwane FM scoops Station of the Year at 2025 Telkom Radio Awards

Tshwane FM, TUT’s popular campus radio station, has secured five prestigious awards, including the top honour of Station of the Year at the 2025 Telkom Radio Awards
An outstanding achievement against fierce competition from South Africa’s leading broadcasters.
The five winning awards are:
- Station of the Year (Campus Category)
- Best Talk Show – The Creative Hub
- Best Night-Time Show - Geek Wave
- Best Sport Show - Tshwane FM Sports Centre (Community & Campus Combined)
- Best Breakfast Show Presenter - Master Vee
The glittering awards ceremony took place on 6 December at the Sandton Convention Centre, with South Africa’s radio industry gathered to celebrate excellence.
This remarkable achievement highlights the exceptional talent, creativity and dedication of the Tshwane FM team and the broader TUT community. It firmly establishes the station as the country’s top-performing community broadcasters.
