Management Sciences Prof wins international Best Paper Award

Prof Uwe Hermann, Associate Professor at the TUT’s Department of Tourism Management, received the Philip Pearce Best Paper Award during the 34th Annual CAUTHE CONFERENCE in Hobart, Australia.
Hosted by the University of Tasmania from 6-9 February 2024, CAUTHE is the largest and most prestigious academic conference for hospitality, tourism and events in Australasia.
The conference theme 'Diverse Voices: Creating change in tourism, hospitality and events' seeks to be inclusive and diverse. It showcased opportunities for change in tourism, hospitality and events, globally and within the region of Tasmania.
The aim of the Conference was to bring together professionals, researchers and students to discuss the latest issues and challenges happening in the field. Prominent international and local speakers provided fresh perspectives on current topics, relevant to a broad range of tourism stakeholders including the tourism industry.
