Faculty of Humanities

The Faculty of Humanities, based mainly at Soshanguve Campus, about 30 km north of Pretoria, is the largest faculty at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). It comprises eight academic departments and offers over 60 accredited programmes, ranging from diplomas to doctoral degrees.

The Faculty houses the School of Education, which consists of four departments: Educational Foundation, Mathematics, Science and Business Education, Primary Education, and Technology and Vocational Education.

While most programmes are offered through contact education at Soshanguve, selected qualifications are also available at Mbombela, Polokwane and eMalahleni campuses.
