Law, Safety & Security Management

The department has two sections, namely, Law and Safety & Security Management. The Tshwane University of Technology is the first university in South Africa that introduced a three-year qualification in paralegal studies (known as legal assistance).  It is our mission to provide training of the highest quality and to equip students with the theoretical as well as practical knowledge. We also pride ourselves in the fact that every year, our legal assistant students have a team that participates in the annual Moot Court contest, which is an international competition open to all universities in Africa.
