Application for permission to study with another accredited institution

​​Permission is the process of acquiring authorisation from Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) to complete subject(s) or module(s) with another institution. Prior evaluation of instructional offerings will ensure that compatible programmes are completed in order to be credited for the subject. Permission is subjected to TUT’s Rules and Regulations. 

Students’ Rules and Regulations, Part 1 of the Prospectus: ​
  • Admission - Chapter 1 and;​
  • Credit Accumulation and Transfer - Chapter 6​
The below application should be completed, all relevant supporting documentation should be attached and submitted to Student Services on the campus of your registration, or via email.   

Supporting Documentation:​
  • Financial statement (TUT)
  • Syllabi (a short description of the subject from the other institution)
  • Proof of payment (prescribed fees are indicated on the application)​

Application form as well supporting documentation may be forwarded to the person responsible for your Faculty. Forms completed incorrectly or not completed in full will not be considered, please take your time to complete the form correctly.
