TUT update: 19 February 2019
Dear stakeholders and parents
After successful talks with TUT’s Student Leadership (Transitional IRSC and the six Campus SRC structures) today, TUT Management is pleased to announce that all academic, administrative and support activities, will resume at all TUT campuses tomorrow, 20 February 2019.
To alleviate the pressure on students who have been inconvenienced by the suspension of activities, registration for all students has been extended until Friday, 1 March 2019. Students are advised to make use of the online registration system to speed up the process.
The situation at all campuses remained calm today, with activities at the Soshanguve and Polokwane Campuses continuing as scheduled.
Time is not on our side and Management appeals to all students to use their time productively to ensure their academic success.
Exit exams have been postponed, therefore, students who still have to apply, should please do so before 1 March 2019.
We would like to thank all stakeholders, parents and staff members for your patience during the suspension of activities. Management will continue to engage relevant role players to ensure issues are addressed timeously and that this people’s university remains the Number one University of Technology in Africa.
