TUT Inventors recognised for their contribution to patents granted to the University.
The Inventors Forum was established to share commercialization information and resources with the university community and beyond. Through this series, they engage on a range of topics from commercialization basics to non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), intellectual property, patents, licensing, start-ups, and much more.
In addition, the platform serves as a powerful learning tool for supporting and promoting start-up companies emerging from the university, where investors and inventors get together, to exchange their innovation knowledge, successful stories and available funding models.
Esteemed inventors at the event highlighted the importance of conducting research and inventions with a demonstrable impact, a need increasingly being driven by funders.
TUT Innovators, inventors and researchers were also acknowledged and recognised at the event, for the patents certificates granted to the university by the National Intellectual Property Management Office (NIPMO).
