TUT students to benefit from a hybrid X3 BMW donation

TUT's Advancement and Partnerships Office (APO), under the leadership of Dr Eric Pule received an advanced Hybrid X3 Model vehicle as donation from BMW SA, to help advance immense research, development and innovation at the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment.

 

Speaking at the Handover, Dr Pule, Director at the Advancement and Partnerships Office (APO) said the University was honoured to have received the donation from BMW. “The donation will greatly assist students from the Faculty or Engineering and the Built Environment to work around technologies and systems on the vehicle.

“In addition, the donation will have a significant support to the academic enterprise, as we prepare future ready graduates."

“We also extend our appreciation to BMW for not hesitating in supporting the University technology and our students who are eager to learn. The X3 will go along way in preparing our students for the industry”, Dr Pule concluded.
