Despite the challenges these student leaders may have faced during their academic journey, which included leading during the COVID-19 pandemic, they adhered to the Minister of Higher Education and Training’s call for student leaders to complete their studies in record time.
The President General of the ISRC, Nokwanda Khumalo, who graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration commended fellow ISRC members for their exemplary leadership. “Congratulate to the ISRC and other campus SRC members for leading by example. We are the generation that makes education fashionable and I think we should celebrate our small and big successes much more. Leading students during COVID-19 was not easy, but we did it. We have a lot to celebrate,” said Khumalo.
Other graduating IRSC members include Oratile Mahwete, Student Affairs and Residence Operations Officer - National Diploma in Finance and Accounting (Public); Oratile Mahwete, Student Affairs and Residence Operations Officer - National Diploma in Finance and Accounting (Public); Mathidzha Lufuno, Treasure General, - Diploma in Human Resource Management; Zwelakhe Khayalami, ETO- G - National Diploma Legal Assistance; and Khoza Shepherd, Secretary-General who will receive a National Diploma in Legal Assistance.
