Service delivery to benefit from TUT partnership with school of government

The Tshwane School for Business and Society (TSB), based at the Tshwane University of Technology, is one of 10 higher education institutions in the country to partner with the National School of Government (NSG) to provide management training for public servants nationwide. The aim of the project is to contribute to improved service delivery in the country.

As the only business school in Tshwane, South Africa’s seat of power, TSB is well positioned to deliver key executive development initiatives to government leaders, along with its current programmes that cater for the broader businesses. This partnership will be another avenue through which TSB is able to practice its slogan, Lead for Impact

Dr Unéné Gregory, responsible for marketing and special projects at TSB, detailed the school’s excitement to be making such a contribution to the South African society. “We are delighted to be one of the preferred partners of the National School of Government, particularly as it aligns with our focus of having a social impact. Through our partnership with the National School of Government, TSB will cater for executive development,” said Dr Gregory.

Prof Kobus Jonker, Director of TSB, added that the programmes to be offered will include executive management as well as leadership development. The partnership will also benefit communities, as improved training for public servants translates to a more capable and professional service to the public.

  • TSB is one of the top internationally rated Business Schools on the African continent. The school is accredited by the South African Council of Higher Education (CHE) to offer a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PDM), a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA).

TSB’s flagship Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) programmes focus on the development of high potential individuals as impact leaders and entrepreneurs in business and society. Programmes are available to potential leaders in Tshwane, Mbombela and Polokwane.
