All B.Ed. students (levels 1, 2, 3 & 4) from the School of Education should please note that they would not be on teaching practice after recess. They should also report for lectures on 25 March 2019.
Sufficient measures have been put in place to ensure an academically conducive environment as well as the safety of students, staff and TUT property.
Management is engaging tirelessly with all relevant stakeholders to resolve the issues that resulted in the indefinite suspension of the academic programme on 6 March 2019. Because of the time lost, a comprehensive recovery plan will be implemented. Students are urged to report for lectures on time and work hard to ensure their academic success.
In order to ensure the quality of teaching and learning and that our students are prepared for the semester, examinations will be moved from May to June 2019. This will provide enough time for students to prepare and complete the prescribed number of hours.
The following schedule will be submitted to Senate for approval:
Predicate Day will be on 27 May 2019.

- Examinations for all students will commence from 3 to 21 June 2019.
- Supplementary examinations will take place from 8 to 19 July 2019.
- Special and exit examinations will take place on 28 and 29 March as well as 1 to 4 April 2019.
