Former TUT Varsity Football Captain, Elliot Seema, has signed for Premier Soccer League (PSL) side, Highlands Park FC.

After lifting the 2016 Varsity Football Trophy for TUT, Elliot had a brief run at Polokwane City FC in 2016/17 season. He returned to TUT in 2018 to further his studies also assisting Coach Bushy Moloi and his team to reclaim the 2018 Varsity Football trophy. TUT was the runners-up in 2017. After his sterling performances in the 2018 Varsity Football competition, including the winning in the semi-finals against UP-TUKS, Highlands Park FC snapped up the defender.

In addition, he has been a stalwart and ambassador for TUT in the University Sport South Africa (USSA) Football National Club Championships, which he won in 2017. USSA is the biggest student sport event and organisation of sport at universities.

Elliot is the third TUT player that a PSL team has snapped up in 2018. Vusi Sibiya and Sikhumbuzo Ncube have signed for Baroka FC earlier in the year.

TUT is proud of Elliot and wishes him all the best with his career.
