Lecturer appointed as acting Labour Court Judge

Advocate Ndivhuho Tshisevhe, a lecturer at the Tshwane University of Technology’s Department of Law, Faculty of Humanities, has been appointed as an acting Judge of the Labour Court of the Republic of South Africa.

According to him, he always strives to maintain the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa specialising in Labour law and in dealing with his clients. “I will continue to do so as an acting Judge of the Labour Court,” he said.

Adv Tshisevhe currently works as a TUT lecturer, offering Labour Law, Practical Law: Procedure, Legal Research as well as Writing and Tourism Law. He holds an LLB (Univen), LLM Labour Law (UP) and is enrolled for an LLD (Labour Law) at Unisa. He has various publications and conference presentations to his name. 

“We would like to congratulate our colleague, Adv N Tshisevhe, on his appointment as an Acting Judge of the Labour Court for the duration of TUT’s recess period. We wish him well in this prominent position,” said Prof Dane Ally, TUT’s Head of the Department of Law.
