TUT’s Zazini through to Olympic semi-finals

Early this morning, at 04:55, Sokwakhana Zazini, qualified for the semi-finals when he came third in the first round of the Men’s 400 hurdles, with a time of 49.51sec in Heat 5. Zazini, a TUT 400m Hurdles athlete is one three athletes representing South Africa and the University at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Soks Zazini as he is affectionately known, progressed to the Semi-Finals of the Men's 400m Hurdles scheduled to take place on 31 August 2021, 14:05.

International student, Olivier Mwimba represents TUT and his country DRC in the Men's 100m, while Stephen Mokoka represents TUT and #TeamSA in the Men's Marathon.
