The TUT Fundraising Golf Days have become a major calendar event at the University, as well as among the golfing fraternity, alumni, government and the corporate world.
To support the event, donors, companies and individuals can sponsor the golf days and get an opportunity to promote and advertise their products or services on the golf course.
Speaking about the fundraising event, Dr Eric Pule, Director at the Advancement and Partnerships Office (APO), said it has been encouraging to see the extraordinary goodwill of the business and industry leaders, alumni and the public sector supporting the University in this initiative to help “our needy and academically deserving students.”
He further added that the funds raised will also go towards students in need of laptops, e-books and other study material that will support them complete their studies at the University.
“The University is deeply grateful for the timely response and generous contributions, and we appeal to our alumni, the public sector and industry to continue to support TUT to reach its goals in producing future-ready graduates. “Let’s play golf towards raising funds for our students, Dr Pule explained.
