Walk-ins refer mostly to students who did not apply for admission on time or those who did not meet the criteria.
Please note that the University will not allow prospective students who did not apply for admission in 2022, or those who plan to apply late for programmes where there may be space still available, to physically access campuses during the late application period in 2023.
Prospective students who will be looking for available space in programmes at TUT are advised to:
- Go to www.tut.ac.za to check if there are any spaces available after 20 January 2023.
- Please use the APS tool available on the website to check that you meet the minimum requirements before applying for a programme.
- Apply online.
TUT is proud of Grade 12 learners who have completed their exams successfully and want to wish them well in advance as they embark on their various endeavours.
For those prospective students who have applied on time, the University will issue responses regarding final placement in January 2023, when Grade 12 results are released. Any prospective students who are uncertain whether they have been admitted to study at TUT should contact the Call Centre on 086 110 2421.
Please visit www.tut.ac.za for regular updates and information on late applications.
