TUT’s Sunchaser4 team wins iLanga Cup Solar Challenge

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) Solar Car team emerged victorious at the inaugural 2022 iLanga Cup Solar Challenge, a solar-powered car race that took place at the Red Star Raceway in Delmas, Mpumalanga. The race aimed at raising awareness of renewables as alternative and sustainable sources of energy. It also attempted to stimulate discussions on sustainable transportation, while encouraging people to join the growing e-mobility community.
