HEDS aims to deliver a comprehensive, coordinated and integrated academic development and support service to students and staff at the university. Support to faculties is provided by through partnerships that are based on the vision and mission of TUT, the strategic priorities of TUT, the development and support needs identified by faculties in their business plans, with particular focus on the four broad areas represented by the four HEDS directorates. HEDS provides support for students and staff with the primary goal of improving student success at TUT.
