About the Department

​The Department of Nature Conservation has been training students over the past years to excel in a variety of fields and careers including Ecotourism Management (Guides, Eco-destination planners, and Tour operators), Game Ranch Management (Professional Hunting, Game Capturing) and Nature Conservation (Protected area managers, Rangers, Specialist Services, Environmental education etc.). 

​Our research focus includes a number of programmes within Best Management Practices in the Wildlife Industry. Our aim is to supply the game ranch, conservation and eco-tourism industries with competent graduates who are job ready and who will hit the ground running.
