PUBLICATION OF DISTANCE EDUCATION RESULTS FOR THE YEAR AND 2nd SEMESTER SUBJECTS FOR 2021.
The envisage publication date of results: 4 February 2022.
Students who have outstanding balances on their student accounts will not get any results.
Students have until 3 March 2022 to query their results. All other due dates for examination enquiries as per attached application forms. No late examination enquiries will be accommodated.
RESULT CODES
No Admission to exam:
this code is used to indicate that a student did not obtain a minimum of 40% for the predicate mark and have to re-register the subject.
Fail -
this code is used to indicate that a student did not obtain the minimum final mark of 50%, and the student must re-register for the subject.
FX -
Absent from examination
FJ -
Supplementary examination granted. This code is used for the main examination and it indicates that a student is allowed to write a supplementary examination during the next examination period.
FZ -
Fail subminimum. This code is used to indicate that a subminimum of 40 > as required was not obtained during the main examination and a supplementary examination is granted and will take place during the next examination period.
FR -
Fail subminimum in supplementary examination, did not obtain 40 > during the examination, student must re-register the subject the following academic year.
P -

Take note that no final marks may be obtained telephonically
, all available results will be published on the TUT Website as from the date of publication and updates will be weekly in February. Results of students with outstanding balances of R100 or more will not be published.
Publication of final results are as indicated above;
please do not enquire before the publication dates.
The fee for examination enquiries for examination results after the closing date is R47 per enquiry.
