​​​PREDICATE MARKS
The predicate publication date is available on the Academic Core Calendar of TUT. Should there be any deviations it will be communicated via e-mail.

Predicate marks can be viewed on the TUT website under the quick link “exams” and only as from the predicate publication date.

Students may enquire their predicate marks at the Service Points should they not agree with a predicate mark within 5 days after publication thereof.

AEGROTAT (SICK) AND SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES EXAMINATIONS
Paragraph 4.1.15, Part 1 of the TUT Prospectus, Students’ Rules and Regulations is relevant.

SPECIAL EXAMINATIONS (NOT RELEVANT TO CONTINIUOUS ASSESSMENTS)
The Application for Special Examinations form should be printed, completed and e-mailed to Distance Education WITHIN THREE (3) WORKING DAYS of the date of the examination, together with proof of payment of the prescribed fee and a valid medical certificate, call up instructions, death certificate, etc.

Distance Education students may only write the special examination during the next examination period and after approval, the registrations will be done by Distance Education Unit.

You will be informed of the outcome of your application by means of an official letter e-mailed to your TUT4Life e-mail address.

A turnaround time of one (1) month is applicable. Please refrain from enquiring within one (1) month after the date of your e-mailed enquiry. Enquiries done before the one (1) month expired will not be attended to.

NOTE: A COPY OF YOUR ID DOCUMENT SHOULD BE ATTACHED TO ALL E-MAILED ENQUIRIES/REQUESTS/APPLICATIONS. FAILURE TO ATTACH THE ID DOCUMENT COPY WILL RESULT IN YOUR ENQUIRY TO BE DISCARDED WITHOUT ANY NOTICE.​
