​​​​​​DISTANCE EDUCATION TRAFFIC, POLICING AND FIRE TECHNOLOGY DIPLOMA APPLICATIONS FOR 2023 ADMISSIONS

Diploma in Traffic Safety and Municipal Police Management (DPTP19)

Step 1: Consult the About ​Distance Education web page for important information regarding the mode of delivery specifics:
https://www.tut.ac.za/faculties/humanities/departments/distance-ed/about

Step 2:  It is imperative to consult the TUT Distance Education Prospectus for the Diploma in Traffic Safety and Municipal Police Management to ensure that you comply with the admission requirements before moving to Step 3. 

Step 3: e-mail the following information to MaganoJB@tut.ac.za if you comply with the distance education mode of delivery specifics and the programme requirements.

The subject line in your email have to include the following information:
Surname, initials and ID number: Prospective Applicant: Diploma in Traffic Safety and Municipal Police Management (DPTP19).

The body of the e-mail have to include the following information:
Your complete residential address, cell phone number and confirmation that you did consult the prospectus and do qualify to apply for the qualification. 

Applicants will receive further instructions or communication via e-mail within five (5) working days from the TUT Distance Education Unit. 

Note: incomplete information in your e-mail will result in a delayed response.

DIPLOMA IN POLICING (DPP020)

Step 3: e-mail the following information to Mokwenav@tut.ac.za if you comply with the distance education mode of delivery specifics and the programme requirements.​

The subject line in your email have to include the following information:
Surname, initials and ID number: Prospective Applicant: Diploma in Policing (DPP020).​

The body of the e-mail have to include the following information:

DIPLOMA IN FIRE TECHNOLOGY DPFI21 (DISTANCE EDUCATION)

  • 30 November 2022 is the closing date to submit the pre-application form and supporting documentation.  
    ​(Please remember that limited space is available to the programme.  Apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment). 

The following steps for this programme have to be followed by Prospective Applicants:
Step 1: Consult the Distance Education Prospectus for the DIPLOMA IN FIRE TECHNOLOGY​​ to ensure that you comply with the Admission requirements before continuing with STEP 2. ​

Step 2: Pre-application form for the Diploma in Fire Technology ​

Click on the link above, download and print the Pre-application form.​

Attach the pre-application form together with all supporting documents to an e-mail and quote the following in the subject line:
YOUR SURNAME AND INITIALS AND PRE-APPLICATION: DISTANCE EDUCATION: FIRE TECHNOLOGY 

Pre-application screening.
The prospective applicant have to email the pre-application form and supporting documentation to: mokwanamr@tut.ac.za​

The applicant will receive further instructions or communication from Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), Distance Education Unit.

If the applicant’s pre-application screening is successful, he or she will receive e-mailed communication including instructions on how to apply formally online within 10 working days. ​
