Students bring children’s stories to life at Arts Festival

The Tshwane University of Technology’s Department of Drama and Film (Drama) will stage exciting children’s theatre course work during STORYTIME that will be performed at this year’s TUT Arts Festival.

Third-year and B Tech students will bring various children’s stories to life through story enactment, puppetry, puppet theatre, narrative, and performative- and oral storytelling, under the supervision of Drama lecturer, Galeboe Moabi. 

Bring the whole family to experience How the clever jackal gets away, What the animals are afraid of, A pot of cocoyam porridge, and many more!

STORYTIME will be performed at the TUT Arts Campus (c/o Struben & Du Toit Street) at the Rostrum Theatre, Intimate Theatre and Amphitheatre during the TUT Arts Festival (17 – 19 September 2019) from 10:00 to 13:00 daily.
