Dramatic Arts student for Miss Gauteng Exclusive

24 May 2019

Mmalebone Lefoka, a B Tech Dramatic Arts student, definitely personifies beauty and the brains. The versatile student has qualified as one of the top 100 finalists of the prestigious Miss Gauteng Exclusive beauty pageant.

For the 21-year-old Mmalebone from Morula View in Mabopane, the competition is a great platform towards personal growth.

“What inspired me to join the competition is the fact that Miss Gauteng Exclusive offers more than just looking pretty and competing with other girls. It’ is about embracing how this form of art can help a person to acquire skills such as entrepreneurial skills; participate in community engagements as well as being an ambassador of the people,” says Mmalebone.

Motivated and driven by people like Nonhle Thema, Zoe Modiga, Kelly Khumalo and significantly Michelle Obama, the spirited Mmalebone says she wants to leave behind a memorable legacy and serve her community, particularly the youth. She wants to start groups that will offer motivational sessions to the youth and offer emotional support to those who have challenges.

“It is important that the youth receive emotional support from a young age if they are to succeed in future. Human beings need to engage on different levels that contribute to communal growth,” she adds.

To keep her in the competition, please sms MISSGE MMALEBONE LEFOKA to 45633.

The prospective Miss Gauteng Exclusive would appreciate all the support she can get. “I would appreciate it if my posters could be posted on campuses and if I could be given airtime in the form of interviews on radio stations. I would also welcome any sponsorships that could assist me in my quest to lift the Miss Gauteng Exclusive beauty pageant,” she concludes.

The radiant beauty says this will be the first time she competes in a beauty pageant. The date for the next elimination round is still to be confirmed.
