Objectives

​TUT CED facilitates support and access to start-up resources to accelerate the development and growth of student entrepreneurs, early-stage start-ups, co-operatives and small businesses. 

We are mandated to provide individual Business Solution with respect to:
  • Accelerating the formation of sustainable emerging businesses, leading to increased job creation and economic development.
  • Creating opportunities to cultivate innovative business ideas and develop entrepreneurial competence.
  • Providing practical instruction for starting and growing small businesses.
  • Cultivating a culture of peer-support and networking among the participants.
  • Facilitating business coaching & mentorship to increase th​e sustainable, success and scale-up of the ventures created.
  • Establishing linkages between beneficiaries and potential impact funders, angel investors and other potential business partners.
  • Leveraging on the private and public sector partnerships that the U​niversity has to facilitate for access to market for the entrepreneurs.
