Special examinations for qualifications that phased out in December 2023

The University has taken cognisance of the number of students who have failed to complete their qualifications before they phased out in December 2023. Since many of these students only have a few modules left, the TUT Senate has granted permission for them to write special exams for modules that are not prerequisites for follow-up modules, except if these modules are prerequisites for Work Integrated Learning (WIL).

These special exams will be written from 18 to 28 June 2024 during the next formal supplementary examination period.

Senate also agreed that students who pass these special exams and only have the WIL module outstanding, will be allowed to register for their WIL module in the second semester of 2024.
