The Herbert Haag Sport Information Centre
The Herbert Haag Sport Information Centre was established in 2008 after Prof. Dr. h.c. Herbert Haag, M.S. Professor Emeritus for Sport Science at the University Sport and Sport Sciences of the University of Kiel, Germany, has donated his private collection of with about 1000 items published in English to the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) in South Africa.
The Centre is housed in the library on the Pretoria Campus of the Tshwane University of Technology.
The purpose of the Centre is to provide sports information and to act as a gateway to sport related information services and resources supporting the needs of the sports community and academic institutions on the African Continent. In doing so we strive to help TUT, South Africa and Africa to further develop sport, sport education and sport science.

Weekdays (Monday to Friday): 08:00 – 16:00
South African public holidays: Closed
