This department offers programmes in a variety of fields. The programmes are:
Marketing, Logistics, Retail Business Management, Recreation Management, and Sport Management.
Most of these programmes are also offered at postgraduate level.
Marketing is both a concept and a set of techniques covering selling, sales management, marketing research, new product development, product management, pricing, packaging, advertising, promotions, distribution, consumer guidance, after-sales service and public relations.
Logistics can best be described as that part of the supply chain process that plans, implements and controls the efficient and effective flow and storage of goods, services and related information from the point of origin to the point of consumption to meet the customer’s needs.
A person who is interested in the Sport Management programme should have an interest in recreation and sport, as well as in a management field. The sport managers task is to organise sport and to coordinate sport programmes to improve the quality of people's life.
The Recreation Management programme prepares students for positions in leisure service professions and related human services. Recreation professionals work with individuals or groups in organised recreation to promote personal growth, fitness, wellness, creativity, healthy leisure choices, and overall quality of life.

After completion of your studies in Retail Business Management you will be able to understand and use the techniques and methods for receiving products, warehousing, displays and shop floor layout and the provision of additional services in the store to ensure customer interest and satisfaction.
