Students from the Department of Performing Arts (Dance) will take the Breytenbach
Theatre by storm later this week.

One of the highlights on the Tshwane University of Technology’s Arts calendar is the annual Dance Season. This year’s season will kick off at the Breytenbach Theatre later this week and promises an out of the ordinary double bill. 

Mersiha Mesihovic, a world-renowned choreographer from New York, will be coming all the way to Pretoria to stage her work VOID, in collaboration with young TUT dancers. On the other side of the bill, Thabang Pete will present his Master’s research production called Open for Discussion.

Dance Season 2016: New Direction starts on 22 April and runs until 28 April, with shows at 19:30. On 23 April and 27 April there will be shows at 15:00 and 19:30.

The Breytenbach Theatre is situated in Gerard Moerdyk Street, Sunnyside, Pretoria.
